Families Anonymous is a world-wide fellowship of family members and friends who have been affected by another's abuse of mind-altering substances or related behavioural problems. FamAnonmAnonoffer support groups gatherings, on a regular basis, throughout the country. Even if there is only a suspicion of a problem, any concerned individual is deeply encouraged to attend the meetings.
FamAnonmAnonwas established by a group of families in America in 1971. There are around 50 groups in different parts of the nation now, after the first group began operating in London in 1980.
The FamAnonmAnonis a self-sustained organisation which methods are based on the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions programme created by Alcoholics Anonymous.

In UK, the first FamAnonmAnongroup began in 1980 and the number has grown to 50 groups located in different parts of the country.

Families Anonymous works in so many ways. It first and foremost quality originates from sharing of normal issues. Meetings and memberships are entirely free of charge.
